She has been making pottery for over 30 years. She works mostly in porcelain. This is how she get the glaze to have high opulence sheen. She also use a much more durable stoneware to allow her to create the larger pieces. She fires at cone 6 an electric kiln. The textures that she imprint on the clay comes from many sources. She use whatever she may find that will give the clay an interesting texture. It could be rope, burlap, seashell or anything that can imprint or roll over the clay. She has now started to create original designs using small rollers that she texture. She was the first winner of Coyote's Clay and color glaze contest and she participated in exhibits and art shows in the NV area.
